Our house is situated off the Potomac on Hull Creek, which means the water is nice and shallow for little ones to play, and there are plenty of crabs to be caught!

Summary: Location is magical. Water views and nature views abound. Porches, open areas, views galore. On a quiet point, with a creek meets river, almost ocean like feel. It is a very special place. All you need-beds are super comfy and attention to details with seating and kitchen are greatly appreciated. Besides older adults, we had age-early 20s cousins that discovered the fun of croquet. We did puzzles, played games and kayaked a lot; explored the creek and braved the ever changing currents and tides opening to the Potomac. Still a little chilly for fish, but we tried. Loved hearing and seeing all the birds and soaking in the hot tub at sunset. Had family dinners on porches and breakfast in the kitchen/dinette... but coffee first for sunrise outside! Would come back again and again, felt like home.

Summary: Wonderfully relaxing weekend on the water with the kids. So peaceful. Property gorgeous. Photos spot on. So many cozy hangouts in the house. Games, Roku TV. Fully functional kitchen, for those cooks out there. Would recommend just grabbing your groceries at Food Lion in the way in from town, and then slow down and enjoy!
